Ratty Ratty Chinese New Year !!

Yeah, its Chinese New Year!!!

Im gonna get many many angpao!!!

2008 is the year of ratty...so we will seeing many rat icon everywhere....will I see GG??

We will see this big big red lantern(Tang Long) hanging all around the town.

and the hooman will deco the house with these beautiful deco.

Some of them will have these blosome flower at home too.

Oh ya, you can see this lion dance everywhere...

These are another type of lion dance....mom said it looks like Twinkle. wakakaka

and there will be dragon dance too...no worries, this dragon wont blow out the fire.

Can you see all those chinese wording behind?? Its all "good & kind" wording. For example: healthier new year, wealthier new year, prosperous new year..... and the hooman will put them up at the wall.

and how can we miss out the food?? Chinese New Year is all about FOOD, slurp~~

We have mandarine orange.

We have different kind of snack, sweet & cookies.

We have this "Low Shang" thingy for chinese new year....something like japanese sashime wich believe to bring us good fortune.

Do you realise there are mostly RED in color??

Yes, Chinese believe that RED is good. Red bring good luck & good fortune and black is not welcoming in Chinese New Year.....hmm....should I paint my eye mark to red then??

So pals, I will be enjoying my Chinese New Year with the hooman and we will be away for few days......too many FOOD to finish up...haha.
